Setting up Moonfin

There's nothing to host here, Moonfin is just the app to install on whatever's doing the actual watching, pointed at the Jellyfin server from its own guide.

    Install it where the watching happens

    On a Chromecast with Google TV or an Android TV box, install "Moonfin" from the Google Play Store directly. On Android phones and tablets it's also on the Play Store. Apple TV, iOS, and desktop don't have an official Moonfin app yet, Jellyfin's own web client or app works fine there, or the Moonfin web app in any browser.

    Point it at the Jellyfin server

    On first launch it asks for a server address; enter the same URL used to reach Jellyfin. If it can't discover it automatically on the local network, add it manually.

    Sign in

    Use the same Jellyfin account created in that server's own setup wizard, there's no separate Moonfin account.
