Paperless-ngx is built specifically around paper: feed it scanned documents and it automatically reads the text (OCR), suggests tags, and files everything into a searchable archive, the closest thing to actually digitizing a filing cabinet.
Like Papra, it solves the same problem cloud scanning apps do, just without sending copies of bills, medical paperwork, and contracts to someone else's servers to get read.
