Turns raw data from other self-hosted tools into readable dashboards and graphs.
Grafana doesn't collect anything on its own; it's the dashboard layer that sits on top of other tools (TeslaMate, home sensors, uptime monitors) and turns their raw numbers into graphs that are actually readable.
Same idea as any cloud analytics dashboard, just pointed at data that never left this network in the first place.
