Jellyfin
A self-hosted media server for movies and TV, the open-source alternative to Plex or Netflix.
Jellyfin organizes a personal collection of movies and TV shows into a proper streaming library (posters, metadata, subtitles, multiple user profiles) and streams it to phones, TVs, and browsers on the network or remotely.
It's completely free and open-source, with no premium tier gating features behind a subscription the way Plex increasingly does. Paired with a nicer client like Moonfin, it holds up well against any commercial streaming app.
